In the semiconductor industry, the demand for operational amplifiers with "low power consumption, high stability, and miniaturization" is becoming increasingly urgent in fields such as portable electronics, industrial control, and medical devices. Low-voltage power supply scenarios often result in insufficient signal dynamic range, while battery-powered devices face endurance limitations. Industrial environments present significant challenges in electromagnetic interference and wide-temperature range reliability. Additionally, high-density PCB layouts require more compact device packaging.

The CBM6042 from Corebai, a dual-channel rail-to-rail operational amplifier, delivers a cost-effective solution for medium-low speed signal amplification. Featuring a 1.4V-5.5V wide supply range, 600nA/channel ultra-low static current, and industrial-grade environmental adaptability, it precisely addresses the core trade-offs of power consumption, precision, stability, and space in such scenarios.

The CBM6042 supports single-supply operation from 1.4V to 5.5V (compatible with dual-supply ±0.7V to ±2.75V). Under 5V operation, each channel maintains a static current of just 600nA (typical value), with total dual-channel power consumption dropping to 1.2μA. This nanoscale power efficiency directly extends the battery life of lithium-ion-powered devices without requiring additional power conditioning circuits. It adapts to diverse power supply systems ranging from low-voltage lithium batteries to industrial-standard 5V, simplifying design and reducing overall system power consumption. The input common-mode voltage range expands to-0.1V to +5.6V (including ground and 100mV rail-to-rail) under 5.5V supply. The output maintains rail-to-rail signal transmission with 10mV (typical 3.5-4.5mV) under>50kΩ load. With a maximum 3mV input offset (typical 0.4mV), 2.5μV/temperature drift, and 1pA low input bias current, it effectively prevents weak signal distortion, enhancing sensor measurement accuracy and low-frequency signal amplification stability.

In terms of anti-interference and environmental adaptability, the CBM6042 demonstrates a typical Common Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR) of 84dB under 5V supply with VCM ranging from-0.1V to 5.1V, and a typical Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR) of 80dB. This enables effective suppression of interference signal coupling in complex industrial electromagnetic environments, ensuring stable and faithful dual-channel signal amplification. The device operates within an extreme temperature range of-40°C to +125°C, meeting the operational requirements of industrial equipment in high-and low-temperature conditions. With an absolute maximum input voltage of +7V, it provides reliable overvoltage protection, mitigating component damage risks caused by power supply fluctuations in industrial settings. This design extends the overall service life of the equipment and reduces maintenance costs.

The CBM6042 offers three compact packaging options: SOP-8, MSOP-8, and DFN-8. The MSOP-8 package measures just 2.9mm×3.1mm, while the DFN-8 version is as small as 1.9mm×2.1mm. This design saves over 50% of PCB space compared to traditional dual-channel discrete op-amps. The packaging adapts seamlessly from standard mass production to high-density portable devices, supports tape-winding packaging (2,500-4,000 units per roll), and integrates with automated assembly processes to boost production efficiency.

Typical application scenarios

Dual-channel sensor interface: Capable of amplifying signals from temperature, pressure, and other dual-channel sensors. Its low bias current and temperature drift characteristics ensure measurement consistency, while the low-power feature makes it ideal for outdoor mobile monitoring scenarios.

Medical device communication: Its wide temperature range and EMI-resistant design ensure stable signal transmission in medical environments, while the low-power feature extends the battery life of portable medical devices (e.g., pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors).

Portable audio output: Featuring dual-channel drivers for left and right channels, the rail-to-rail output enhances dynamic range while the compact package accommodates high-density PCB layouts.
