CBM27A/27G Applications

Thermostats are a prevalent type of temperature monitoring and control system in our daily lives, utilized in various appliances such as underfloor heating water heaters, air conditioners, and ovens found in households. The CBM27A/27G, when connected to a thermistor, relays the measured values back to the processor. Shown below is a typical application schematic for a thermostat:

CBM27A/27G Product Highlights

Input offset voltage as low as 26μV and drift of only 0.2 μV/°C, this device is an ideal choice for precision instrumentation applications. Its extremely low noise (en = 3.5nV/√Hz at 10 Hz), low 1/f noise corner frequency (2.7 Hz), and high gain (1800 V/mV) enable accurate amplification of low-level signals.

An 8 MHz gain bandwidth product and a 2.8 V/µs slew rate ensure excellent dynamic accuracy in high-speed data acquisition systems.

The output stage boasts strong load driving capability, delivering a ±10 V guaranteed swing (with a 600 Ω load) and low output distortion, making the CBM27 an outstanding option for professional audio applications.

Both the power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) exceed 120 dB. Coupled with a long-term drift of just 0.2 μV/month, these characteristics facilitate easy attainment of high-performance levels in circuit designs.

Offering enhanced design flexibility, the product operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +125°C and under all supported power supply modes. It is compatible with ADI, PMI, and LTC OP27 series products.
